Is chimney sweeping mandatory in Luxembourg?

In Luxembourg, owners and tenants are legally obliged to have their chimneys regularly inspected and cleaned.

The cleaning of the chimney and the frequency of its maintenance depend on the user's sense of responsibility and the conditions under which the insurer establishes the validity of the home insurance .
